Espadrilles aren’t second-rate shoes any more! They have become a must-have item for all types of bride. More and more brides are choosing espadrilles for their wedding day, because they are feminine, comfortable and versatile.
In this photo shoot, we wanted to convey a sense of eternity, peace and romance. We tried out different lighting options on a background of white fabrics and walls. This natural, spontaneous process gave the photo a feeling of closeness. We also shot the shoes by themselves, playing with the way the light hit them. All the sets were created by Alex Lasa.
For the styling, Javier Ly chose a variety of white and beige pieces, representing different styles of bride. Some women will prefer a more classic espadrille, but others might want a splash of colour. In Gaimo’s new bridal collection, you’ll find sandals that have heels, as well as platforms, and wedges. They’re available in a wide variety of colours, from white to pink, green, grey and metallic.
For the make-up, Miquel Cristóbal created a relaxed and natural look with a loose up-do, adding handmade hairpieces and accessories from the brand Cocoluco.
